Overview
The Visual Studio Feedback and Subscriptions team focuses on strengthening the connection between customers and Visual Studio engineers to deliver a seamless, integrated developer ecosystem.
We are hiring several Software Engineers, Software Engineer IIs and Senior Software Engineers to join this organization in Microsoft Czechia.
The Feedback Platform, also known as Developer Community, supports Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SSMS, DevBox and other Azure offerings. It collects customer feedback, turns it into actionable Azure DevOps work items, and supports intelligent routing, prioritization and direct communication so issues get resolved efficiently.In parallel, the Visual Studio Subscriptions platform gives customers access to Visual Studio and a broad range of developer tools, cloud services, software, training and support benefits for subscribers and participants in programs such as MPN, MCT, FTE and Alumni.
You will build and operate Azure services with broad business impact, apply AI to engineering, customer and operational scenarios, and own features end to end. Our team is open, inclusive and growth-oriented, works in an agile environment, and isn't afraid to take big bets.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop features for Visual Studio subscriptions and benefits.
- Build and improve the Developer Community platform to strengthen engagement between customers and Visual Studio engineers.
- Design and build AI-powered features and automation for customer, engineering and operational scenarios.Use AI-assisted engineering tools effectively across development, debugging, testing and operational workflows.
- Build data-driven features and automation that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and operate secure, reliable production services.
- Drive engineering quality through design and code reviews, testing, CI/CD and collaboration with Microsoft partner teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems. (Software Engineer level: early-career candidates with strong fundamentals and relevant internship or project experience are welcome.)
- Ability to own problem areas and deliver results with minimal direction.Good collaboration and communication skills in English.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and the ability to apply AI effectively in software engineering workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Azure services.
- Web development skills (ASP.NET, React, etc.).
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, large language models or building AI-powered applications and services.
- Experience with SQL and Kusto.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud
Background Check
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Czechia is Kč 966,000.00 - Kč 1,727,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Czechia is Kč 1,338,000.00 - Kč 2,448,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
