• We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and ensure efficient case management and daily office operations in Auburn, Alabama.
• IMPORTANT: PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A LAW FIRM IS REQUIRED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE. CANDIDATES WITHOUT LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

What You'll Do

• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and enhance office effectiveness.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and other parties involved in cases.
• Gather, organize, and maintain case-related documentation and information.
• Prepare and file legal documents, correspondence, and other case materials.
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
• Support case progression by maintaining organized files and tracking deadlines.
• Assist attorneys with pre-litigation and litigation-related administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate records within the firm's case management systems.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar legal support role within a law firm — REQUIRED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.
• Candidates without previous law firm experience should not apply.
• Personal Injury (PI) law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation procedures preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of legal case management software preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
• Spanish proficiency is a plus.
