International Growth Associate

Hi! At Miyagi Labs (YC W25), we’re building an AI-powered learning platform that helps students around the world learn and prepare for important exams. We're growing internationally and looking for ambitious, creative people to help bring Miyagi to millions of students.

About the Role

• We're hiring International Growth Associates to help expand Miyagi Labs into new markets, particularly across Africa and Asia.
• You'll work directly with the founders to experiment with marketing strategies, launch advertising campaigns, build relationships with content creators, and drive student acquisition.
• This is a hands-on role with significant ownership and opportunities to grow as we scale.

What You'll Do

• Paid Marketing: Launch, manage, and optimize Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and potentially Google Ads campaigns targeting students and parents.
• Creator Partnerships: Find and recruit local UGC creators, education influencers, and student ambassadors to promote Miyagi.
• Outreach & Collaborations: Reach out to creators, negotiate partnerships, coordinate content production, and track campaign results.
• Growth Experiments: Test new acquisition channels, messaging, creatives, and distribution strategies.
• Market Research: Understand how students in your market study, discover educational products, and use social media.
• Analytics: Track performance metrics including signups, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.

Who We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Excellent written communication and outreach skills.
• Creative, resourceful, and comfortable experimenting.
• Analytical and interested in measuring results.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, influencer marketing, or UGC is a plus.
• Strong understanding of at least one international market, particularly Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, India, or Pakistan.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Prior startup experience is not required. We care more about initiative, execution, and results than credentials.
