Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Matter.
You will own and drive the internal communications strategy for the South Central Europe (SCE) Commercial Unit at Mondelēz International, spanning twelve markets, including Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovenia. Your mission is to foster community, increase engagement, deepen understanding of Mondelēz’s strategic direction and raise SCE's visibility within the broader Mondelēz community. You will be the connective thread between leadership, functions, production plants, and offices — ensuring every colleague feels informed, inspired, and united.
How you will contribute
- Develop, execute, monitor and adapt the annual SCE Internal Communications Roadmap, aligned with SCE business and people priorities and the global Mondelēz communications framework.
- Translate SCE strategy into clear, engaging narratives that resonate across diverse markets, target audiences, and organizational levels.
- Support and equip the SCE Management Team and Function Leads with messaging, positioning, and employee communication.
- Select and deploy the right formats and tools that will ensure communication reaches all SCE audiences.
- Coordinate quarterly SCE Town Halls end-to-end, from agenda design, speaker preparation, logistics, post-event key-takeaway communications trough to attendance tracking.
- Create compelling content across all internal channels – Viva Engage, video, intranet and email, and more, ensuring consistency of voice and corporate brand.
- Drive internal activation of major brand campaigns to build colleague pride and commercial awareness.
- Support our manufacturing network with employee communication initiatives and community building.
- Act as the primary SCE liaison for internal communications, coordinating with the central European and Global teams on strategy, activities, and alignment.
- Own and manage the SCE Internal Communications budget end-to-end, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across programs, channels, and markets.
What you will bring
- At least 8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement — ideally within a multinational FMCG or matrix organization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English(required). Proficiency in one of the SCE-region languages is a strong asset.
- Strong background in designing and delivering multi-channel internal communications strategies across multiple markets or geographies.
- Skilled at translating business priorities into engaging employee narratives.
- Hands-on content creation skills: strong copywriting, video production oversight, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work effectively across functions, seniority levels, and geographies without direct authority.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach, a passion for communication and a proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure.
- The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
