What you'll do

As Assistant Vice President for End User Computing Governance and Digital Enablement based in Singapore HQ, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team’s mission to deliver robust risk governance frameworks across APAC branches.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creating detailed standards for EUC tools; executing risk classification; analysing processes for simplification; designing reusable automation solutions; supporting transitions into business-as-usual; configuring responsible AI applications; coordinating with diverse stakeholders; avoiding duplicative efforts; providing hands-on support for process improvements; and championing best practices in documentation.

Success in this role requires you to be dependable in managing multiple priorities across local and regional teams while maintaining high standards of control effectiveness. You will thrive by leveraging your technical expertise alongside strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders from various disciplines.

Create and maintain comprehensive EUC governance frameworks, standards, procedures and central inventories covering a wide range of tools including spreadsheets, VBA, Python, C#, Power Platform, Alteryx and SaaS applications.

Execute or coordinate risk classification activities by validating controls and remediating issues in partnership with stakeholders to ensure appropriate governance pathways for EUCs.

Analyse existing risk processes to identify areas for simplification and automation, delivering tailored solutions that address operational needs.

Design, build, test and document reusable technology solutions using programming languages for data processing, validation, reconciliation, workflow optimisation and management reporting.

Support the transition of developed solutions into business-as-usual operations through clear documentation, user training sessions, adoption support initiatives and regular reporting to management.

Configure, train, test and monitor task-specific AI solutions with robust human review mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal requirements and responsible AI principles.

Coordinate closely with APAC branches as well as Head Office teams—including business units, risk management groups, compliance officers, data specialists and technology stakeholders—to align solutions with broader organisational standards.

Avoid duplicative development by ensuring all digital enablement initiatives are harmonised across local, regional and global teams.

Provide hands-on support for process improvement projects that enhance control effectiveness while reducing operational errors throughout the region.

Champion best practices in documentation, version control, error handling and access management for all delivered automation solutions.
