This is a senior role with plenty of visibility across the business, working closely with Finance, Tax, Legal and our external partners to maintain a strong financial control environment while continuing to simplify and improve the way we work.

Why join Mulberry? Joining our Finance team is a great opportunity to play a key role in how we manage financial reporting, governance and audit across the Group. Work closely with the Head of Finance Operations to ensure significant accounting judgements, risks and exposures are understood and appropriately managed. Take ownership of intercompany accounting across the Group. Manage our external audit relationships and support Audit Committee activities. Lead balance sheet governance across Finance, ensuring potential risks and opportunities are identified and understood. Experience working within a listed or regulated business, with a strong understanding of the associated reporting and governance requirements. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Extensive experience leading Group consolidation, statutory reporting and external audit programmes.

Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with Tax, Finance, external auditors and advisors. A proactive and practical approach to problem solving, with the confidence to challenge and improve the way things are done. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex financial information clear and accessible to a range of stakeholders. A collaborative approach, natural curiosity and strong attention to detail.
