Description
Job Summary
In this role, you will be the visual voice of our practice, responsible for filming high-quality educational and promotional content, editing engaging short- and long-form videos, and managing our daily social channels.
You will work closely with our ENT physicians, audiologists, and clinical staff to demystify ear, nose, and throat health - ranging from pediatric ENT and sinus care to hearing loss and sleep apnea - while maintaining strict patient privacy (HIPAA) standards. Additionally, you will serve as the first point of contact for our online community by managing inbound comments and direct messages.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and record original visual and audio content within the clinic, including physician interviews, procedural explainers, patient testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage, and educational Q&As.
- Operate camera gear, mobile rigs, lighting kits, and wireless microphones to ensure high production value in clinical settings.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to identify filming opportunities that do not disrupt patient flow or clinical operations.
- Secure and file proper media releases and HIPAA-compliant consent documentation prior to recording any patient or procedure.
- Edit dynamic, platform-native video assets for Instagram (Reels), TikTok, YouTube (Shorts & Long-form), Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Add captions, sound design, motion graphics, transitions, and on-brand typography optimized for mobile viewing.
- Repurpose long-form educational talks and podcast-style segments into digestible micro-content.
- Design complementary static assets, carousels, and YouTube thumbnails using Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.
- Monitor daily direct messages, public comments, mentions, and online reviews across all active social platforms.
- Deliver prompt, empathetic, and professional responses using approved clinical communication guidelines.
- Direct prospective patients to booking portals or the clinic’s scheduling department.
- Strictly maintain healthcare privacy standards: recognize potential HIPAA liabilities and never provide individualized medical advice in public or private online channels.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar reflecting health awareness months, seasonal ENT trends (e.g., allergy seasons, cold/flu season), and clinic priorities.
- Track platform analytics (engagement rates, follower growth, inbound click-throughs, inquiries) and deliver monthly performance recaps.
- Stay current with social media algorithms, trending audio, editing formats, and healthcare marketing ethics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex medical terminology into clear, accessible, and engaging patient-facing content.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related field is preferred or 1-2 years of experience in multimedia content creation, videography, video editing, and social media management.
