Director of Enrollment and Family Engagement

Title: Director of Enrollment and Family Engagement Reports to: Principal Location: Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School | Sarasota, FL Classification: Salaried/Exempt Overview Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School seeks a mission-centered, relational, and strategic professional to lead student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, retention, and family engagement. The Director manages the prospective-family journey from first inquiry through enrollment, strengthens relationships with current families and partner communities, and uses data, communications, and personal outreach to support sustainable enrollment.

Job Responsibilities Enrollment Strategy: Develop and execute an annual recruitment, admissions, yield, and retention plan with measurable enrollment goals and regular reporting. Admissions & Recruitment: Lead the inquiry-to-enrollment process and coordinate Open House, Cougar Experience Days, tours, testing, information sessions, and other recruitment experiences. Family Engagement & Retention: Create intentional onboarding, communication, feedback, and engagement strategies that strengthen family connection and student retention.

Partner-School, Parish & Community Outreach: Build strong relationships with principals, school communities, pastors, parishes, and community partners that expand the prospective-family pipeline. Marketing & Storytelling: Partner with Communications & Marketing to develop compelling, consistent recruitment messaging, campaigns, materials, website content, and family communications. Data & Enrollment Management: Track and analyze inquiries, applications, acceptances, yield, enrollment, retention, feeder-school trends, and event effectiveness; use findings to guide strategy.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal and the Advancement & Enrollment team, as well as Academic Services, Student Life, Campus Ministry, Athletics, and the Business Office. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred. Experience in admissions, enrollment management, family engagement, marketing, communications, education, or a related field preferred Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, writing, organizational, and customer-service skills.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage events and projects, interpret data, and use technology effectively. Commitment to Catholic education and the ability to articulate and advance the mission of Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School.
