Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

Experience

• At least 15+ years' overall experience, preferably across procurement, strategic sourcing or enterprise platforms
• Demonstrated delivery experience with SAP Ariba or comparable strategic sourcing platforms in complex enterprise environments
• Experience configuring sourcing modules, approval flows, forms, templates, master data, integrations and reporting
• Experience preparing test strategies, scripts and test data, coordinating UAT, managing defects and supporting release readiness
• Experience supporting production platforms, incidents, root-cause analysis, enhancements and controlled change
• Experience leading teams through change and managing competing priorities while maintaining customer outcomes

Qualification Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a related industry, Business, Information Technology or Supply Chain
• Essential capabilities
• Strong functional knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement and Source-to-Contract processes, including sourcing events, supplier onboarding, contracting and supplier management
• Hands-on capability in platform configuration, business rules, templates, user roles, permissions and system controls
• Ability to design, configure and govern multi-level approval workflows, delegations, exception paths and segregation-of-duties controls
• Strong testing capability across unit, system integration, regression and user acceptance testing, including traceability from requirements to evidence and defects
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and practical platform solutions
• People leadership, stakeholder management, project delivery, quality, risk and audit discipline

Key Accountabilities

• Own functional configuration and operational support for strategic sourcing and procurement platforms
• Elicit, challenge and document business requirements, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Configure and maintain sourcing templates, approval flows, roles, permissions, business rules, notifications and controls
• Plan and execute unit, integration, regression and UAT activities; maintain requirements traceability, evidence and defect resolution
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing, Technology, Risk and vendors to deliver controlled releases and sustainable solutions
• Maintain production stability through proactive monitoring, incident and problem management, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Provide functional guidance, documentation and knowledge transfer to users and team members
