Job Description: Python Developer (GenAI)

**Experience:** 5+ Years

**Location:** Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India

**Work Mode:** Hybrid – 3 Days per Week in Office

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

**Shift Timing:** 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM IST

## Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming and backend development skills, experience building REST APIs, working with databases, and integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications. Familiarity with cloud platforms, application security, and deployment practices is preferred.

## Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with proper versioning, documentation, and error handling.
• Develop stateless and stateful services based on application requirements.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, and RBAC.
• Integrate AI/ML models and LLM services into Python applications.
• Work with databases, optimize queries, and maintain data integrity.
• Implement asynchronous programming and background processing.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests and participate in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD deployments, production monitoring, and troubleshooting.

## Required Technical Skills

**Python & Backend Development**

• Strong Python programming skills with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience developing REST APIs, API documentation, and asynchronous applications.
• Knowledge of background tasks, message queues, and microservices.

**Databases**

• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, and ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

**Authentication & Security**

• Knowledge of JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and RBAC.
• Understanding of secure API development and OWASP security practices.

**AI & Generative AI**

• Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLM APIs into Python applications.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and structured outputs.
• Familiarity with LangChain, RAG, embeddings, and Vertex AI is an advantage.

**Cloud & DevOps**

• Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD tools, and Linux.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Basic knowledge of OpenTelemetry and Microsoft Graph APIs is preferred.

## Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise-grade applications and production APIs.
• Exposure to healthcare or other enterprise domains.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and support business requirements across time zones.

## Work Requirements

• Work from the Madurai office three days per week under the standard hybrid arrangement.
• Work the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST.
• Be flexible with occasional extended working hours based on business requirements.
• Depending on the applicable project arrangement, candidates may be required to work from the Madurai office for one week monthly or quarterly. Travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed by the company for these visits.
