About Neovance
At Neovance, we’re transforming the patient experience by driving better outcomes through compassion, innovation, and operational excellence. With more than 30 years of experience partnering with the biopharmaceutical industry, we deliver agile, technology-enabled patient access solutions that help people start and stay on therapy.
Our expertise spans HUB services, patient assistance programs, field reimbursement, nursing, and non-commercial pharmacy - each designed to remove barriers to care and ensure patients receive the therapies they need when they need them.
Guided by our values of Agility, Integrity, Tenacity, Unity, and Quality, we work as one Neovance team to optimize access, enhance adherence, and make a meaningful impact, one patient at a time.
The Opportunity
Neovance continues to grow, and HR is evolving its operating model to keep pace. This role will lead several HR process optimization work streams, spanning leave management, policy and program governance, HRIS processes and the employee lifecycle, through a busy Q4 that includes open enrollment, calibration and year-end cycles.
Role Overview
The Senior HR Operations Lead will drive strategic HR operations work at Neovance through early 2027, from partnering with stakeholders to define business requirements through design, implementation and handoff. We need someone who can assess the current state, set the plan and deliver it with minimal direction.
You will lead process optimization work streams across leave management, HR policies and programs, HRIS-enabled workflows and the core employee lifecycle, translating business needs into scalable, documented and repeatable processes that improve the employee and manager experience.
This is more than a task-execution role. You will be a thought partner to HR leadership: someone who challenges our thinking, brings perspective from other organizations and helps make Neovance a better place to work. You will own execution and recommendations, and transition each work stream to an internal owner, with documentation, when it is complete.
What You'll Do
- Lead HR process optimization work streams, from assessing the current state and defining business requirements through design, implementation and handoff
- Partner on leave management programs and the employee and manager experience around them
- Guide HR policy, program and compliance practices in partnership with HR leadership and legal counsel
- Optimize HRIS-enabled workflows and core employee lifecycle processes
- Support peak HR cycles, HR business partnering and other priorities as business needs evolve
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years leading HR operations at a senior manager, lead or director level
- Proven track record of designing and scaling HR operations in a multi-state U.S. environment
- UKG (UKG Pro or Ready) experience
- Deep working knowledge of leave management (FMLA, ADA interplay, state and local leave laws), including leave program and vendor implementation
- Experience developing and maintaining employee handbooks and HR policies in partnership with legal counsel
- Hands-on HRIS process experience, including testing configuration changes and designing workflows
- Working knowledge of U.S. wage and hour compliance and HR recordkeeping requirements
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment: assess a situation, build a plan and deliver with minimal direction
- Confident and direct; comfortable pushing back, offering a point of view and influencing senior leaders
- Strong written communication for policies, process documentation and employee communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR operations in Mexico, India, or other countries outside the U.S.
- Experience across several organizations or industries, ideally including healthcare, pharmacy, life sciences or other regulated, high-volume operations
- Background in a high-growth, private equity-backed or transformation setting
- Compensation, job architecture or career framework design experience
- Experience with open enrollment and benefits administration
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
Compensation
This is an hourly position paying $80.00 to $85.00 per hour.
