At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
About the Role
Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services offering TV series, films, games and live programming across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
Our rapidly expanding global Ads team is building an innovative advertising offering where our clients can reach engaged audiences and our members can find must-watch series and films at a lower price. Within our Ads business, the Product Marketing team drives the global go-to-market strategy and scalable execution for client-facing ad products, translating product capabilities into market-facing narratives that drive adoption and revenue.
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic and collaborative Senior Ads Product Marketing leader to join our growing Ad Product Marketing team and own programmatic go-to-market for the US and Canada (UCAN). In this role, you will set the narrative for how agencies, trading desks, advertisers and technology partners plan and buy Netflix’s premium, brand-safe inventory programmatically, and you will partner with product and sales leadership to shape where the programmatic business goes next.
Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end product go-to-market strategy for UCAN programmatic solutions, including DSP expansion, Programmatic Live, programmatic direct demand, supply curation (e.g. agency marketplaces), in-DSP measurement and audiences and new capabilities (e.g., DSP/SSP integrations)
Define and champion Netflix’s programmatic positioning and value proposition, highlighting why and how buyers should transact programmatically versus direct buying and streaming/CTV competitors.
Build UCAN’s programmatic go-to-market and operational strategy for retail and commerce media
Serve as a strategic advisor to product and regional business leadership by establishing structured feedback loops and evidence-based processes grounded in customer insights, research, and market trends to shape global product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and feature enhancements.
Direct the development of high-impact GTM materials and deliverables (e.g., pitch decks, demos, FAQs, battlecards, case studies) to bring solutions to life succinctly and persuasively.
Lead internal and external enablement programs for ad sales teams, programmatic partners (DSPs, SSPs, trading desks), Mid-Market, and Emerging Business channels to drive programmatic depth, activation, and sales mastery.
Drive alignment and execution of ad solution rollouts at tentpole events (e.g., CES, Upfront, Cannes), representing Netflix programmatic with clients, partners, and industry audiences.
Partner with Comms, Ad Product, Marketing, and Research teams to translate ads portfolio strategy into clear customer messaging and leverage audience/industry insights to inform new offerings.
Define success metrics, track adoption, pipeline influence, and campaign performance to continuously refine strategy, messaging, and investment.
What We’re Looking For
10-12+ years experience in product marketing within the programmatic advertising and/or B2B Advertising space
Extensive knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem (demand and supply side, identity, measurement) and the ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling positioning and enablement strategies
Deep knowledge of the ad-supported CTV streaming space and retail / commerce media
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
Proven track record of leading multiple concurrent, high-visibility product launches and GTM programs from strategy through execution
Strong experience in partnering cross-functionally on product strategy, product positioning/narrative and GTM launches, with the ability to influence senior internal stakeholders and external partners
Have strategic vision that is coupled with strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver work under tight timelines.
Experience working with agency holding companies, advertisers and technology partners in the US and/or Canada is a plus
