At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
The Team
The Creative Asset & Fandom Technology (CRAFT) product team generates, conforms, and manages short-form creative assets for AV, artwork, and copy, and builds fan experiences that bring them to life, so every launch makes a great first impression and fans keep coming back. We build flexible technology that makes it effortless for our partners to bring any asset to members and fans across every surface where Netflix content appears, from the Netflix app to marketing channels and beyond.
The Role
As Product Manager, Asset Ordering & Copy Fulfillment, you will own two connected domains. In Asset Planning & Ordering, you will build the systems that let teams like Marketing and Product Merchandising request the assets they need through a single, shared surface, covering all on and off service experiences, whether that means creating a net-new asset or adapting an existing one. In Copy, you will help teams ingest, create, manage, and deliver the words that describe and market Netflix content (synopses, taglines, callouts) at ROI-justified volume and high technical and creative quality.
Together, these domains are the front door and the output of the asset lifecycle: how teams ask for what they need, and how the words get made and delivered. You will work closely with the other CRAFT domain PMs, including Promotional Video, Artwork, and Scaled Asset Foundations, to move toward a single, modern, AI-powered ecosystem for ordering, briefing, fulfilling, and tracking. You will partner daily with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, and creative and marketing teams around the world.
What You’ll Do
- Set the product vision and roadmap for asset ordering and copy fulfillment, and bring on- and off-service ordering into one place.
- Own workstreams end to end, from framing the problem through launch, measurement, and the next iteration.
- Route work to the right fulfillment path, automated or human, and right-size quality investment to the content type and strategic bet.
- Shape how AI-powered capabilities create, adapt, and localize copy, with human oversight where it matters.
- Partner with operations and regional teams to understand how work really gets done, and build tools they can run themselves without adding unplanned load.
- Partner with cross-functional partners to prototype and test early with real users, define success metrics before launch, and work with Data Science to measure impact on speed, cost, and quality.
- Synthesize needs from many stakeholders with different, sometimes conflicting, priorities into a clear roadmap, and communicate it from individual engineers to senior leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping complex workflow, platform, or internal tooling products
- Experience with request, intake, or ordering systems, content supply chains, or workflow orchestration, and comfort with the data models and integrations behind them.
- Ability to translate operational realities into product strategy, and a habit of weighing the operational impact of a launch upfront.
- Working effectively across cross-functional teams to drive alignment
- Excellent data-informed judgment, and ability to leverage data in service of telling the right story, not the other way around
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting ambiguous problems clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A balance of collaborative and decisive, and an eagerness to seek feedback and improve.
- Experience in media, entertainment, marketing technology, or streaming is a plus.
