About the Role

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, offering TV series, films, games and live programming across a wide variety of genres and languages. As we grow and acquire companies that expand what we do, our Talent M&A team serves as the dedicated people partner for every acquisition. We lead the highest-risk, highest-ambiguity phases of the HR workstream, from target evaluation and diligence through deal structuring, Employee Day 1, and the first ninety days, and we partner across Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, Workplace, Talent Tech & Operations, HRBPs, and Talent subfunctions to bring acquired teams into Netflix efficiently while offering a great employee experience.

We are seeking a data-driven and highly organized Talent M&A Specialist to partner closely with the Talent M&A lead and drive execution across the deal lifecycle. [Depending on experience, this role can be scoped at the Associate, Senior Associate, or Manager level]. You will own day-to-day workstream management and cross-functional coordination across active deals, bringing operational rigor to ensure our deal strategy is executed effectively. This is an individual-contributor role reporting to the Talent M&A lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Talent workstream management across active deals, tracking milestones, dependencies, and owners, and keeping cross-functional partners aligned and accountable.
  • Build and maintain deal trackers and dashboards that give real-time visibility into deal and integration progress.
  • Support evaluation of target company policies and operations.
  • Track long-term success of deals through our annual scorecard reporting process and monitor success metrics like employee retention.
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, Workplace, and Talent subfunctions to keep decisions and Employee Day 1 readiness on track.
  • Run large cross-functional meetings, capture decisions and actions, and hold partners accountable to their commitments.
  • Maintain and improve the Talent M&A playbook, exit criteria, and templates to drive consistency and continuous improvement from deal to deal.
  • Flex into broader strategic Talent initiatives during lower deal volume periods.

Proven ability to manage multiple complex cross-functional workstreams at once under tight timelines.

Excellent cross-functional communication, with the ability to run large meetings and partner with senior stakeholders independently.
