Azure Cloud Engineer

About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is looking for a Azure Cloud Engineer for the Professional Services

Design, implement, and support Microsoft Azure cloud solutions with a focus on cloud-native platforms, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, security, and modernization initiatives. Contribute to the deployment, operation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and resilient Azure environments while supporting migration, transformation, and platform engineering engagements.

This role extends traditional cloud engineering responsibilities toward modern cloud-native architectures, Infrastructure as Code, container platforms, and operational excellence across Azure environments.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Deploy, operate, and support Azure infrastructure for enterprise workloads.
• Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure PaaS, container, and serverless technologies.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and Azure ARM templates.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes-based workloads running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Support Azure Landing Zone deployments, governance, policy enforcement, and subscription management.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking solutions including VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, DNS, and private networking.
• Implement and support Microsoft Entra ID integrations, RBAC, Conditional Access, and identity federation solutions.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Data, and Application teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Participate in cloud assessments, migration projects, modernization initiatives, and production deployments.
• Support monitoring, logging, observability, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Contribute to technical reviews, architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts, and emerging cloud technology initiatives.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize *Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)* environments, including image management, FSLogix, session hosts, scaling plans, and user experience optimization.
• Implement Azure security controls leveraging *Microsoft Defender for Cloud*, Microsoft Sentinel, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Zero Trust principles.
• Support security assessments, remediation activities, compliance initiatives, and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Copilot technologies, or AI workloads.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale *Azure Virtual Desktop* environments.
• What You Will Bring To The Table
• Strong experience with Azure core services
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, governance, and monitoring.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, and release management.
• Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and identity federation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, integrations, and authentication mechanisms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
