Senior Tier IV Enterprise Network Lead

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a Senior Tier IV Enterprise Network Lead to lead advanced engineering support for Navy enterprise infrastructure and overseas network modernization. The Senior Tier IV Enterprise Network Lead resolves complex infrastructure issues, develops technical change solutions and coordinates system integration and activation. This position supports replacement of legacy networks at overseas operations centers while managing dependencies among equipment delivery, site readiness and operational network configurations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide Tier IV engineering for NEN networks and applications, analyzing complex faults and recommending technical corrections.

Develop technical change solutions and supporting documentation for accelerated introduction of approved network capabilities.

Coordinate workstation baseline integration with NGEN and associated shore network activation activities.

Plan subsystem deliveries and site activation dependencies with engineering teams and supported Government activities.

Support legacy network replacement and integration at operations centers in Naples, Bahrain and Yokosuka and related sites.

Review implementation readiness and document technical risks, integration results and configuration changes affecting sustained operations.

Requirements

Desired/Required Skills

• Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required.
• DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required.
• Education: Master’s level degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience: 10 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
• Experience supporting fault-tolerant enterprise infrastructure, engineering Requests for Change and planning CONUS/OCONUS network integration or modernization activities.
• Maintain a Secret security clearance for onsite work at Government facilities.
• A favorable Tier 5 (T5) background investigation or equivalent is required for privileged access to Government information systems.
• Maintain applicable vendor certifications for the role in addition to applicable Information Assurance Technical (IAT) security certifications and cyberspace workforce training and qualifications for covered network duties.
• Able to travel to supported CONUS/OCONUS sites as tasking requires and complete applicable travel and installation training.
