Finance - Corporate Internship - Summer 2027

Location: Seattle, WA

Nordstrom is seeking summer interns who are exceptionally motivated and possess high levels of curiosity to join our finance organization. As a Nordstrom Finance Intern, you’ll play a dual role — dedicated student and valued team member. Successful Finance Interns will also have the opportunity to join Nordstrom full-time upon completion of their degree.

As an intern, you’ll…

Get an up-close, behind-the-scenes view of the retail fashion industry that you won’t find in a classroom

Develop and deliver a strategic project with milestones, deliverables and deadlines that you’ll present directly to company leadership at the end of the summer

Jump in on real projects from day one, contributing to the daily work that keeps the team moving and learning how the business runs from the inside.

Build variance analysis and insight reporting that support the financial cycle

Use data and analytics to uncover insights that inform business decisions

Analyze and improve finance processes to come up with solutions for real business challenges

Explore how AI, data and automation can help transform the way we work

Collaborate with and learn from experienced members of the finance team

You own this if you…

• Are a college student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with a focus in Finance (preferred), Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• Have an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Have strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and AI.
• Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel to create reports, run queries, and create pivot tables.
• Build great relationships through stellar communication and follow-through.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ace organizational skills and ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures.
• Able to relocate to Seattle for the duration of the 10-week summer internship.
• Excited about a career at Nordstrom if offered a position at the end of your internship (based on performance).

The 2027 summer internship program is 10 weeks long from June 14th- August 13th in Seattle, WA. Travel and housing are sponsored during program participation. Interviews will take place in January 2027. We anticipate hiring decisions being made in February, 2027.

The hourly rate is $33.00.

At this time, Nordstrom cannot provide sponsorship now or in the future for this role. This includes interested parties who currently hold an F-1, H-1, TN, J-1, OPT, or CPT visa.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$29.00 - $46.25 Hourly
