The Role
We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing & Brand Intern to join our Marketing & Brand team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting content development, events, brand initiatives, website management, and marketing operations while learning about the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) industry. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute fresh ideas, take ownership of projects, and develop their marketing skills.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience across multiple areas of marketing. We're seeking a candidate who is available to work part-time, up to 20 hours per week, during the remainder of the Fall 2026 semester and the Spring 2027 semester, transitioning to full-time throughout Summer 2027.
Due to the hands-on nature of the internship responsibilities, candidates must be located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. This position requires an in-office presence at our downtown Minneapolis office and is not a remote internship.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day marketing initiatives, projects, and team priorities.
- Assist with internal and external events, including logistics, attendee tracking, CRM updates, and follow-up communications.
- Support marketing and brand transitions associated with new advisor partnerships, including materials, client communications, and brand updates.
- Contribute to creative projects, including content writing, design updates, social media, and photo and video content.
- Maintain website content, including publishing insights, updating resources, and managing employee biographies.
- Coordinate branded merchandise and client gifting, including inventory management, vendor coordination, ordering, and fulfillment.
- Provide marketing and communications support for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
- Assist with monthly and quarterly marketing reporting and data preparation.
- Research marketing trends, industry best practices, and opportunities to enhance brand initiatives.
- Follow established marketing and compliance review processes for published materials.
- Take ownership of recurring projects and identify opportunities to improve team processes.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (sophomore, junior, or senior standing).
- Strong interest in marketing, branding, and the financial services industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous internship experience preferred but not required.
- Availability to work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the remainder of Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, and full-time throughout Summer 2027.
- Must be located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and able to work on-site at our downtown Minneapolis office.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate for this role is $22.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for Employee Sick & Safe Time (ESST). For more details on ESST, visit the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry's website.
