Conseillère ou conseiller en ressources humaines | Généraliste / HR Advisor | Generalist

Beauceville, Canada In person Full-time

IS HR YOUR PLAYING FIELD?

Human Resources Advisor | Generalist

Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment? So do we.

Here, a day in HR might start with an interview, continue with a discussion with a manager, involve handling a labour relations matter at the plant, organizing a training session... and end with an employee communication. In short, the days go by quickly, and no two are ever the same!

We are looking for someone to join our HR team as an Advisor/Generalist. Here, HR is first and foremost a consultative service that supports all other departments. Our role is to listen, advise, support, solve problems, and help move things forward. This position will be based in Beauceville, QC.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You will be involved in a variety of human resources functions, including:

Talent Acquisition: Recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and new employee orientation;

Labour Relations: Supporting managers and handling employee relations matters in a unionized manufacturing environment;

Training and Development: Coordinating and monitoring employee training programs;

Health & Safety: Participating in health and safety initiatives, such as Joint Health & Safety Committee activities and accident investigations;

Communications: Preparing and distributing employee communications;

HR Policies and Programs: Developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and programs;

Benefits Administration: Enrolling employees in group benefits and retirement savings plans, and administering the Employee Assistance Program (EAP);

Employee Engagement & Social Activities: Organizing events that contribute to the company’s culture and employee experience;

And most importantly, being available to employees and managers when it matters most.

The Profile We Are Looking For

You are an approachable, resourceful, organized, and solutions-oriented professional. You take the time to understand situations before taking action and are genuinely committed to helping people.

You possess

A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a related field; a CRIA designation is considered an asset;

More than 6 years of Human Resources experience;

Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a unionized setting;

Strong written communication and interpersonal skills;

Excellent ability to listen, analyze situations, provide advice, and develop practical solutions;

Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to work independently;

A people-focused, service-oriented approach when supporting employees and managers;

Must be bilingual with advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Why Join Us?

Because here, you won't be limited to just one area of HR. You'll have the opportunity to do it all. You will learn, advise, create, resolve issues, and most importantly, see the direct impact of your work. If you're the type of person who enjoys hearing:

“I have a situation... can you help me?”

and your response is:

“Absolutely. Let's look at it together.”

We'd love to meet you!
