Don’t just count the numbers. Be the force that drives success.

Behind every great hotel is a leader who knows how to turn financial insight into meaningful impact. As our Director of Finance & Business Support, you’ll take your place at the leadership table, influence key decisions and shape the financial direction of the hotel. Partnering with owners and senior leaders, you’ll challenge conventional thinking, identify opportunities for greater profitability and lead not only the Finance function, but also the hotel’s Information technology and Procurement teams. In return, you’ll have the scope to make your mark across the entire operation, strengthen your executive leadership experience and see the tangible results of your work.

Ready to take the lead, influence the bigger picture and leave your mark? We want to hear from you. Bring your commercial vision, your leadership ambition and your drive for excellence — and join us in shaping what comes next.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Lead and develop the Finance, Procurement and IT teams: Set clear priorities, coach and develop team members, build capability across functions, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Own the hotel's financial performance: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, providing insights into revenue, departmental expenses, labour costs and operating margins to drive profitability.

Drive procurement strategy and governance: Oversee purchasing and barge operations, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, inventory controls and sourcing practices to maximise value, ensure compliance and support operational requirements.

Provide strategic oversight of hotel technology systems: Partner with operational leaders and IHG technology teams to ensure reliable, secure and efficient technology infrastructure, supporting both guest-facing and back-of-house systems.

Maximise hotel profitability and cash flow: Monitor financial performance against budget, analyse variances, manage working capital and implement strategies to optimise costs, control expenditure and improve operating efficiency.

Drive commercial decision-making: Partner with the General Manager, department heads and owners to evaluate business performance, benchmark results, assess capital investment opportunities and deliver strong returns.

Oversee financial controls and compliance: Ensure the integrity of hotel accounting, financial statements, payroll, purchasing, inventory controls, credit and collections, while maintaining audit readiness and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Champion governance, risk management and stakeholder relationships: Safeguard hotel assets, oversee contracts, owner reporting, technology governance and internal controls, ensuring business processes support operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience.
