Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm is seeking a senior commercial litigation attorney with substantial first-chair trial experience to join and help grow its Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will
- Serve as first chair in commercial litigation matters including trial
- Handle complex business disputes in state and federal court
- Lead hearings, dispositive motions, discovery strategy, and trial preparation
- Manage high-exposure and heavily contested matters
- Supervise and mentor associates
- Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s California litigation practice
Qualifications
- Significant first-chair trial experience in commercial litigation
- Demonstrated courtroom experience in state and/or federal courts
- Strong motion practice and case management skills
- Experience handling complex business disputes
- Ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution
- Salary expected to be in the $230K-$275K range.
