Automation Specialist

Location: GBS Chennai

• The role will be in FBS Data & Technology, which is part of the Ford Business Solutions team, supporting the End-to-End process transformation initiatives across global Ford teams.
• Potential candidate should Learn and become expert in automation and process management tools
• Conduct E2E solution development activities such as requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support activities
• Candidates should have exposure to cutting edge tools & technology on business process automation and workflow management.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Knowledge on any of these Business process like Accounting, Finance, HR operations, Supply chain or Marketing and sales
• Work closely with business partners to understand, identify and support automation opportunities by leading the design of the automated solution and building out the technical components
• Stay up-to-date with emerging automation and low code/no code technologies and best practice.

Qualifications

• § Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science & Engineering
• § Ability to understand the business scope and project management
• § Excellent problem-solving skills
• § Knowledge on in Business intelligence like Power BI or Qlik Sense or any BI tools
• § Knowledge on Data engineering tools like Alteryx, Data Fusion
• § Evidence of interest in analytics (courses taken, competitions participated in, etc.)
• § Strong communication and data presentation skills
• § Familiarity with any one of programming languages (e.g., Python)
• § Familiarity with any one or two platforms like Pega/UiPath(RPA/DPA), Power automate, PowerApps
• § Familiarity with cloud tools – GCP (Good Cloud Platform) or any other cloud platforms like Azure, AWS is added advantage
