Account Specialist

One Stop Halal sells authentic halal products online. We cater to the needs of 8 million halal consumers in the USA. People prefer halal food because it is clean, healthy and humane. Our products include Meat, Grocery, Bakery, Personal Care, Vitamins, etc.

Responsible for Full cycle, high volume, Accounts payable process

Check and approve all vouchers for payment and review for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

Responsible to handle all vendor inquiries in a professional manner

Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors as directed

Prepare accounts payable checks

Print all accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files

Prepare analysis of accounts, as required

Assist in monthly closings

Process expense reports and employee reimbursements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting

Technical knowledge of accounting regulations, policies and procedures

Strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel, QuickBooks and other software

Detail- and deadline-oriented

Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
