Apply semiconductor device physics and Python-based test automation/data analysis to understand device behavior and provide characterization data supporting technology development, modeling, reliability, and applications.
Performance Objectives
- Perform DC/static and dynamic characterization of SiC power devices, including I-V, RDS(on), VTH, leakage, DPT and SCWT.
- Develop strong understanding of SiC device physics and correlate device-level behavior with application-relevant performance.
- Support test setup development, measurement automation, and data analysis using Python.
- Analyze characterization data, identify trends/anomalies, and provide clear technical conclusions to technology, modeling, reliability, and application teams.
- Ensure high-quality, reproducible measurements and proper documentation of test conditions, methods, and results.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of characterization methodologies and laboratory capabilities for current and future SiC technologies.
- Perform DC/static and dynamic electrical characterization of SiC MOSFETs, including I-V, RDS(on), VTH, leakage, breakdown, DPT and SCWT.
- Execute application-relevant characterization to evaluate switching performance, device robustness, and key electrical parameters.
- Develop and maintain test methods, measurement setups, and characterization procedures for current and future SiC technologies.
- Use Python for measurement automation, data processing, visualization, and parameter extraction.
- Analyze results based on semiconductor device physics and correlate electrical behavior with device design and application performance.
- Ensure measurement accuracy, repeatability, data quality, and proper documentation of characterization results.
- Collaborate with technology development, modeling, reliability, applications, and product engineering teams to support development milestones and technical investigations.
