What the role offers

• Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale Documentum applications across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, Technical Teams, and Release Management to ensure successful product delivery and launches.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices, clean coding standards, and proven design patterns to develop high-quality, maintainable applications.
• Drive automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, software quality, and development processes.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve complex technical challenges and proactively manage project risks and escalations.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and contribute to engineering excellence.
• Participate in the development of AI-powered enterprise solutions utilizing modern AI technologies and developer productivity tools.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 9–10 years of experience in software development and enterprise application engineering.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, REST Services, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native application development.
• Experience designing and supporting distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, JVM internals, garbage collection, and software design patterns.
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or React, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), RESTful APIs, and scalable application architecture.
• Experience building secure, resilient, fault-tolerant, and high-performing enterprise systems.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving innovation and customer-focused outcomes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Microsoft Copilot, and GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with SQL Server-based applications, deployment solutions, and product installer development is an advantage.
• A passion for delivery excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
