Your Impact

As an Asset Amendments Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting OpenText’s Compliance Organization by managing software license transfer (SLT) requests and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant asset transitions. You will collaborate with Compliance Managers, Sales, and Maintenance teams globally, leveraging your analytical expertise to provide fact-based recommendations, improve processes, and drive operational excellence.

What the role offers

• Analyze Software License Transfer (SLT) requests and conduct preliminary assessments.
• Extract and validate contracts, entitlements, and licensing information for transferor and transferee organizations.
• Prepare software license agreements, calculate transfer fees, and create accurate quotations.
• Validate signed agreements and execute asset transfers in compliance with established processes.
• Draft and distribute completion letters and related stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with Compliance Managers, Sales representatives, and Maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of SLT requests.
• Independently manage end-to-end SLT processes and provide expert guidance on license transfer activities.
• Escalate issues proactively and drive resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as a subject matter expert and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

What you need to succeed

3-4+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), Software License Auditing, or Software License Transfer processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make fact-based decisions.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate across global teams.

Flexibility to work in global shifts when required.

Bachelor's degree with an aggregate score of 60% or above.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience or at least 3 years of experience within the SAM domain.
