Staff Accountant

Location: PACS

General Purpose

Accountants perform month-end close procedures, ensuringaccurateand complete financialstatements,prepare andmaintainbalance sheet reconciliations, supportvariousaudit requirements, andcommunicate variances and trends withoperations and leadership to drivesatisfactory accounting results.

Essential Duties

• Work directly with accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations, payroll, and other supporting departments.
• Maintain general ledger accounting records.Prepare and substantiate journal entries.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, fixed assetschedules, etc.
• Perform month-over-monthincome statementvarianceanalyses anddeliverresults to operations and leadership.
• Ability tomaintaintimelydelivery of financials to leadershipeach month.
• Maintainaccruals schedule;identifymissing invoices, perform monthly cut-off accruals,accruefor utility usage, etc.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QualificationRequirements (Education and/or Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance ora related field.
• 3+yearsinrelated experience orequivalencypreferred.
• Offerof employmentarecontingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background screening, and proof of documentation to verify legal work eligibility.
• A thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices, costanalysis and accounting principles, as well asdemonstrated analytical, problem solving, human relations and effective communication skillsalsorequired.
• This is a hybridrolewith 3 days inPACS DowntownSalt Lake Cityofficerequired.
• Familiarity with Microsoft OfficePrograms.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and performing detailed financial and accounting tasks requiring sustained concentration and attention to detail.

Ability tooperatecomputers and other standard office equipment.

Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and electronic communication platforms with employees, leadership, auditors, and external business partners.

Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting or carrying office materials and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.

Ability to travel occasionally to corporate offices, facilities, training events, audits, meetings, or other business-related locations as needed.
