Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Accountable for Parker Hannifin Japan's supply chain financial and customer service performance;
• Solely responsible for sourcing, logistics activities and 3PL management
• Monitors, evaluates, and assesses supply chain impact on operations and customer requirements based on forecasts, trends, and changing priorities – responsible for leading S&OP
• Develops positive cross-functional team and customer relationships and models effective interactions and problem resolution;
• Serves as liaison and business partner across internal teams to ensure open communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or supply chain management preferable
• 5 years+ supply chain management experience including planning, purchasing and logistics
• Has experience of supplier/3PL management
• Has experience of people management
• Has experience of S&OP process (Leading S&OP is preferable)
• Strategic perspective and Critical thinking
• Hands on and detail orientation
• Higher levels of Windows office skills are preferable;
• Business level English and Global Communication Skills
• Business orientation
• Possess effective communication skills (verbal/writing) and influence skill
• Possess high level of integrity and positive work attitude
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills, ability to establish a rapport with others
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail
• Ability to conceptualize processes to see the “big picture”
• Technical knowledge or familiarity with a manufacturing environment helpful
• Process oriented , digitally and lean/Kaizen experience preferable
