PepsiCo Manufacturing

Workforce Analyst

Coventry, United Kingdom In person Full-time

Overview

At PepsiCo UK, we’re proud to make some of the nation’s favourite snacks and drinks—like Walkers, Quaker, Doritos, Pipers, and Monster Munch. With sites across the UK, including our Quaker mill in Cupar and Doritos factory in Coventry, we’re also home to one of the world’s largest crisp factories in Leicester.

As a Workforce Analyst, you will ensure that shift operations are fully resourced, compliant, and capable through effective workforce planning, skills management, and maintaining high data accuracy. You will support Frontline Managers (FLM's) by managing labour scheduling systems, resolving people-related system anomalies, and ensuring that training, capability, and compliance requirements are consistently met across the site.

Responsibilities

Manage holiday and planned absences across the site to maintain optimal staffing levels in line with local rules.

Run advanced Workforce Management (WFM) scheduling to proactively optimise resource and skills allocation for upcoming shifts.

Resolve system anomalies related to lateness and absence, escalating issues to Front Line Managers (FLM) to support effective management of time and attendance non-compliance.

Collaborate with the planning team to align available resources with the production plan and ensure operational readiness.

Maintain and update the Workforce Management (WFM) system, including coordinating Occupational Health referrals and processing amendments to employee hours and skill profiles.

Organise required health surveillance activities, including escalations and assessments for Frontline Employees (FLE), ensuring QF104 records are accurate and up to date, and support Frontline Employee recruitment when required.

Conduct skills gap analyses to ensure full capability coverage across shifts and schedule required surveys, training courses, and meetings for Frontline Employees.

Ensure financial rigor and accurate reporting, managing variances, safeguarding data integrity, identifying cost-optimisation opportunities, and supporting Frontline Managers with on-shift investigations when appropriate.

Experience working in a manufacturing or operational environment, with a good understanding of how shifts and frontline teams operate.

Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail, especially when working with data and schedules.

Confidence using MS Office and workforce management systems, or a willingness to learn quickly.

Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly.

A proactive, flexible mindset, able to adapt to changing priorities and support the team as needed.

A high level of integrity, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and trust in all aspects of the role.

Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep processes running smoothly.
