Settlements Payments Analyst

The Settlements Payments Analyst plays a critical role within the Commodity Settlements team, part of the Finance function. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of all payments made by PetroIneos Trading & Refining (PITL) and PetroChina International (London) Ltd (PCIL), encompassing both commodity trading-related costs and general accounts payable. A strong understanding of the end-to-end payments process in SAP is essential, along with familiarity with commodity trading costs, accounting terminology, and best practices.

The role involves regular interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, requiring excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills. In addition, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are vital to succeed in this role. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
