IT Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

• PFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seeks an IT
• Infrastructure Engineer to provide infrastructure support across enterprise server,
• networking, cloud, virtualization, storage and end-user computing environments. This role
• is ideal for candidates with strong infrastructure support experience, enterprise Microsoft
• technology expertise, and a passion for operational excellence, infrastructure
• modernization, security and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure support across server, networking, cloud, virtualization and

storage environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server, network, identity, security and end

user issues.

• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory and Entra

ID environments.

• Administer and support Windows Server, hybrid infrastructure, virtualization

platforms, Intune and endpoint management solutions.

• Monitor infrastructure, manage incidents, perform root cause analysis and support

operational activities following ITIL practices.

• Assist with PowerShell automation, backup, disaster recovery, patching, security and

access governance activities.

• Support VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, SAN storage and enterprise backup environments.
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrade, transformation, migration and modernization

projects.

• Maintain technical documentation and provide excellent customer and stakeholder

support.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Infrastructure

Support, IT Operations or Technical Support roles.

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments including

servers, networking and cloud platforms.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration and support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and/or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience supporting large enterprise Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server,

Networking and Hybrid Infrastructure.

• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, security and access management best

practices.

• Good English communication and customer service skills.
• Experience within regulated or government environments is advantageous.
