Location: United States - New York - New York City
Would you like to be part of Pfizer’s commercial AI and analytics transformation? We are looking for a Director of Analytic Strategy and Innovation to lead high-visibility strategic initiatives within a portfolio of complex analytics and AI programs across Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) and the Chief Marketing Office (CMO).
Reporting to the Analytic Strategy and Innovation (ASI) Lead, this person is a transformation lead. You will typically own one to two strategic initiatives at a time, taking each from business case through planning, delivery, deployment and adoption. You will work alongside a product owner on each initiative: the product owner owns the product and its backlog; you own the program, business translation, and execution of the adoption plan.
You will partner with GCA leaders, brand and CMO teams, Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS), Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytic Excellence, and platform and vendor partners to turn business priorities into programs that land. The ideal candidate pairs a program leadership track record with the ability to translate between business, analytics and technology teams, and has delivered analytics or AI capabilities into real use in a commercial organization. Your center of gravity is delivery: you can shape a business case, but you are judged on programs that land. You will have direct exposure to GCA and CMO leadership.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, brings structure to ambiguity, and protects people’s time. You communicate scope and responsibilities clearly, escalate early, know when to decide and when to bring a decision to leadership, and have the intellectual curiosity to constantly learn, unlearn, and re-learn.

You will work with the ASI Lead and GCA leadership to connect your initiatives to the broader portfolio, which is managed with agility to pivot as priorities change. Most importantly, the best ASI partners are effective and considerate leaders, strong teammates, and champions of an empowering and inclusive team culture.
