- Build and integrate automation workflows with Porter's enterprise and airline systems from proof-of-concept to production
- Use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) as a core part of daily workflow to accelerate framework and test development, refactoring, and debugging, with rigorous validation of AI-generated output
- Use AI to investigate suite health, identify flaky tests, quantify regression risk, and prepare reviewer-ready reports of test run signals
- Contribute to application codebases alongside developers on targeted testability, reliability, or tooling improvements
- Contribute to Porter's CI/CD tooling and pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins) beyond test integration, supporting build performance, deployment gates, and pipeline observability
- Support test environment work using infrastructure patterns established by the DevOps team, including ephemeral environments and seeded data
- Code and prepare observability instrumentation for automated suites (Datadog, Dynatrace) so failures surface with actionable context
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT counterparts to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and implement solutions aligned with strategic goals
- Launch, support, and prepare improvements for production automation solutions, including troubleshooting, observability instrumentation, and measuring system performance
- Prepare automation patterns, code standards, and documentation, and share validated approaches with the team
- Research emerging technologies in AI, large language models (LLMs/SLMs), and process automation to identify opportunities that could enhance testing capabilities
- Prepare technical materials for business stakeholders on automation technologies and implementation approaches
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and use AI to accelerate ticket refinement, estimation preparation, and retrospective analysis
