• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong hands-on engineering skills
• with the maturity to own complex features end-to-end, mentor peers, and raise the technical bar
• across the team.

Role Overview

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and own significant components of our SaaS
• platform. You will take features from ambiguous requirements through design, implementation,
• testing, and production operation. You will make sound technical decisions within your area,
• contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor engineers around you.
• This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, solid experience with distributed
• systems and cloud-native development, and a track record of delivering reliable, high-quality
• software. The ideal candidate is a self-driven builder who takes ownership, cares deeply about
• quality, and enjoys solving hard technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering

• Design, build, and own end-to-end features and services across the platform.
• Build scalable APIs, backend services, and cloud-native applications.
• Build and operate event-driven workflows using Kafka-compatible messaging, background
• workers, and reliable async processing patterns.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Contribute to frontend and full-stack development as needed.
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and security within your area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including on-call participation.

Technical Contribution & Design

• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-structured technical designs.
• Participate in and contribute to design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions and clearly document trade-offs.
• Identify technical risks early and propose practical solutions.
• Drive adoption of reusable components, shared services, and engineering best practices.

Quality & Operational Excellence

• Uphold high standards for design, code quality, testing, and operational readiness.
• Write and review unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Improve observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting for your services.
• Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Mentor and support junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to a culture of ownership, learning, and engineering excellence.

AI-Enabled Engineering

• Use modern AI tools to improve development speed, quality, and productivity.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices while maintaining strong engineering standards, security, and code quality.
• Explore practical opportunities to accelerate engineering outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong experience building and operating cloud-native SaaS or web applications.
• Solid understanding of software design, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices.
• Proven ability to own and deliver complex features independently.
• Experience debugging and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Experience with large-scale transactional or data-intensive workloads.
• Exposure to healthcare technology or data-intensive applications.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading feature development.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience building ETL / data pipelines (good to have).
• Exposure to Databricks or similar data/analytics platforms (good to have).
