As a senior mobile native apps developer on the Mobile Native Apps Operations team, you'll support and enhance Progressive’s iOS and Android native applications while developing solutions to complex business problems. In this role, you'll work with mobile application patterns such as navigation, delegation, dependency injection, object mapping, and RESTful services. You'll also contribute to automated testing and software documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance. With approximately 2 million logins per day, our mobile apps are quickly becoming the platform of choice for our customers.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
• {OR} Completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or related field of study (e.g. Engineering, Math, Science) and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

Preferred skills

• Experience developing native iOS and/or Android applications, along with a willingness to learn the other platform.
• Knowledge of mobile development frameworks and patterns such as Functional Reactive Programming, MVVM, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Swift, SwiftUI, Java, object-oriented programming, reactive programming, and Web APIs.
• Experience working in Continuous Delivery and/or Kanban delivery environments.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to identify issues, determine next steps, and support sound decision-making.

Compensation

$118,000 - $137,000/year

Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
