See how Epsilon powers connected marketing by unlocking the full potential of data and identity.
Overview
How You’ll Make an Impact
As Vice President of Product Management for Onsite Commerce Media, you will define and execute the product strategy for Epsilon’s onsite advertising offering, shaping how retailers grow their media businesses and how advertisers connect with shoppers. Reporting directly to the SVP of Ad Products, you will lead one of five core product pods and an organization of approximately 17, from Senior Director through Associate Product Managers, including a global team with a dotted line reporting structure.
You will apply deep retail and/or commerce media expertise, translating retailer business models, brand objectives, merchandising priorities, and shopper needs into differentiated products. You will connect Epsilon’s onsite offering with the broader identity, data, measurement, ad-serving, and campaign workflow capabilities of our ecosystem. Your scope includes Sponsored Products and other onsite and in-store formats, retailer and advertiser tools, measurement, and ad-serving capabilities that support them.
This strategic role calls for a resourceful product leader with strong commercial judgment who can translate vision into disciplined execution. You will balance important retailer and partner commitments with platform investments, make difficult trade-offs, and develop product leaders who own outcomes. Success will require close partnership with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Sales, Account teams, Operations, and fellow product leaders to deliver retailer growth, advertiser value, and relevant shopping experiences.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Achieve
Develop the vision and set the strategic direction for the full onsite advertising offering, translating retailer, advertiser, shopper, and market insight into differentiated product choices and measurable outcomes.
Evolve Sponsored Products and other onsite offerings around retailer maturity, category needs, brand objectives, and shopper journeys. Own onsite ad-serving product capabilities in partnership with Engineering and Data Science.
Improve the retailer and advertiser experience across onboarding, inventory and placement controls, campaign setup, optimization, and onsite measurement and reporting.
Establish a disciplined approach to client requests: evaluate business impact, urgency, reuse, effort, and strategic fit; make commitments transparent; and protect progress on shared platform capabilities.
Sequence integration with Epsilon’s identity and data, measurement, shared ad-serving capabilities, and campaign workflows, agreeing dependencies and decision rights with the product leaders responsible for those services.
Strengthen onsite monetization and product economics by improving yield, fill, advertiser performance, retention, adoption, and cost to serve. Partner with Commercial and Finance to validate the gains while protecting shopper conversion, relevance, and merchandising priorities.
Translate retailer and advertiser needs into platform requirements, partnering with Engineering and Data Science on reliable delivery, scale, experimentation, and integrations that preserve client trust.
Lead and develop product leaders and PMs across a distributed organization. Set clear ownership, coach decision-making, build leadership capability, and raise the quality of discovery, strategy, and delivery.
Own the product lifecycle from customer discovery and investment choices through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement, aligning Product Marketing, Operations, and client-facing teams on positioning, readiness, and the value delivered.
Define a consistent product scorecard and operating cadence that connects client commitments, strategic milestones, platform health, and commercial outcomes.
Who You Are
Deep expertise in retail and/or commerce media, with a track record of translating domain insight into differentiated onsite products and sustained retailer and advertiser value.
Ability to operate across retailer and commercial engagement, product strategy, user experience, development, and the technical details underpinning the offering. You can lead long-term product direction while guiding the day-to-day decisions required to deliver, drive adoption, and grow the business.
Experience leading product leaders and developing PM teams across multiple levels, with demonstrated evidence of delegation, coaching, talent development, and improved product judgment.
Required experience working at a retailer that sells onsite advertising or at a retail media aggregator that enables onsite advertising across retailers. You understand how to balance retailer monetization, advertiser performance, and shopper experience.
Ability to balance important client commitments with a durable platform strategy, negotiate priorities constructively, and turn repeated requests into reusable capabilities
Working knowledge of onsite ad serving, targeting, optimization, and measurement, with the technical judgment to set product requirements and evaluate trade-offs alongside Engineering and Data Science.
Sound commercial judgment: you understand product economics, contribution, cost to serve, and how product decisions influence revenue and retention.
Experience aligning distributed teams and senior stakeholders across organizational boundaries, including teams in different locations and time zones.
Clear written and verbal communication, curiosity about customer problems, and the ability to move between long-term direction and the details needed to deliver.
