Role Overview

You will design and maintain automated test suites for RESTful APIs and web applications, collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product teams, and help set a higher standard on quality across the software delivery lifecycle. This role is ideal for QA engineers who enjoy ownership, technical depth, and applying emerging technologies—including Generative AI—to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect prevention at scale.

Why we are looking for you

You are a hands-on, quality-focused engineer who

  • Enjoys building and maintaining scalable API and UI automation frameworks
  • Has strong experience with tools such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Taiko (or similar browser automation tools)
  • Is comfortable validating cloud-hosted applications and services (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Is curious about Gen AI in QA automation—test generation, intelligent test data, self-healing tests, and AI-assisted defect analysis
  • Likes taking ownership of test strategy and automation, not just executing manual test cases
  • Thinks in terms of risk, coverage, and continuous quality—not only pass/fail outcomes

What you will enjoy in this role

  • As part of the Epsilon Product Engineering team, the pace of the work matches the fast-evolving demands of Fortune 500 clients across the globe
  • As part of an innovative team that’s not afraid to take risks, your ideas will come to life in digital marketing products
  • An open and transparent environment that values innovation, efficiency, and engineering excellence in quality
  • Opportunity to work with modern stacks—.NET Core backends, Angular front ends, and cloud services—while deepening your automation and AI-in-QA expertise

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks and test suites for RESTful services built on .NET Core
  • Build and enhance UI automation using Selenium and Taiko (or equivalent modern browser automation tools) for Angular-based web applications
  • Create and maintain API functional, regression, and contract tests using ReadyAPI (and/or equivalent API testing tools)
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and work with DevOps/platform teams to improve test execution, reporting, and reliability
  • Define and implement test strategies for new features—covering functional, regression, integration, smoke, and non-functional scenarios where applicable
  • Validate cloud-native deployments and configurations on AWS and/or Azure
  • Explore and apply Generative AI in QA automation—e.g. test case generation, synthetic test data, log/analysis assistance, and intelligent maintenance of automation assets
  • Partner with developers, product managers, and UX on shift-left practices, acceptance criteria, and quality gates
  • Identify, document, and track defects; perform root-cause analysis and help prevent recurrence
  • Promote testability, clean automation design, reusable frameworks, and continuous improvement in the QA lifecycle
  • Contribute to solution and test design discussions with technical leads and architects
  • BE / B.Tech / MCA (Full-time education; no correspondence courses)
  • 5–8 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience, with a strong focus on test automation
  • Proven experience in API automation testing for RESTful services
  • Solid experience in UI automation testing using Selenium
  • Hands-on experience with ReadyAPI (or comparable API automation platforms) for functional and regression API testing
  • Experience with Taiko (or equivalent modern browser automation tools) for UI/end-to-end testing
  • Working knowledge of Angular applications and .NET Core-based APIs from a testing perspective
  • Working knowledge of AWS or Azure (deployments, environments, cloud concepts relevant to testing)
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language used for automation (e.g. C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Good to Have (Nice-to-Have Skills)

Experience applying Generative AI in QA—AI-assisted test authoring, test data generation, or automation maintenance

Hands-on or exploratory experience with Agentic AI concepts applied to testing workflows

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and test environments provisioned via automation

Familiarity with performance, security, or accessibility testing

Experience with BDD frameworks and behavior-driven test design

Experience with test reporting dashboards, flaky-test management, and quality metrics/KPIs
