The transformation you will experience
Publicis Sport & Entertainment (PS&E) connects brands to fans by transforming cultural moments into impactful partnerships. PS&E delivers integrated solutions that engage audiences through powerful, insight-led experiences, helping brands become more relevant by integrating into culture and communities. By uniting capabilities across strategic consulting, brand partnerships, content innovation and cultural marketing, PS&E drives meaningful engagement across sport and entertainment.
The Insights Manager plays a hands on role in the delivery of PS&E’s partnership intelligence and consulting solutions. The role turns complex data into clear, commercially grounded insights and recommendations that help clients understand partnership value, performance and opportunity.
The Insights Manager manages the day-to-day delivery of partnership research, valuation, evaluation and measurement projects across a portfolio of sport and entertainment clients. Working with support and direction from PS&E leadership and specialist teams, the role combines data analysis, research, project coordination and strategic storytelling to produce accurate, actionable and executive-ready outputs.
The role owns the day to day delivery and interpretation of partnership intelligence projects. Overall product strategy, technical development, commercial governance and executive client relationships remain with PS&E leadership and relevant specialist teams.
Your scope will include
- Manage the day to day delivery of partnership research, valuation, evaluation and measurement projects against agreed scope, timelines, milestones and quality standards.
- Combine PS&E’s proprietary intelligence tools with relevant first-party, third-party and syndicated research to inform partnership strategy, value, performance and fan and audience intelligence.
- Interpret audience measurement, media exposure, valuation outputs, survey results and other relevant datasets, identifying key findings, anomalies, limitations and implications.
- Develop partnership intelligence reports, impact reports, insight summaries and presentation materials that translate analysis into clear recommendations for clients.
- Apply appropriate quality assurance processes to validate data, calculations, assumptions and reporting outputs before delivery.
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of agreed intelligence and measurement frameworks, benchmarks, templates and repeatable delivery processes.
- Monitor relevant developments across sport, entertainment, sponsorship, media, technology and fan behaviour to support informed client recommendations and local application of global best practice.
- Generate commercially aware recommendations based on client objectives, market context, value drivers, performance evidence and partnership opportunities.
- Support the scoping, proposal development and commercial delivery of intelligence and consulting engagements, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and within agreed scope.
- Help identify appropriate opportunities to apply PS&E intelligence and measurement solutions within new and existing client engagements.
- Contribute analysis, evidence and materials to new-business responses, annual planning, partnership reviews and optimisation recommendations.
- Escalate potential changes to scope, timing, cost or resourcing early and support practical resolution with PS&E leadership.
- Build effective day to day relationships with clients, internal agency teams, research providers, technology partners and external vendors.
- Set clear delivery expectations, maintain regular communication and proactively resolve day-to-day project issues, escalating material risks where required.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ways-of-working documents, status updates and clear records of decisions, responsibilities and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows across PS&E, Publicis Groupe agencies and specialist partners to support accurate and timely delivery.
- Prepare and present clear insight narratives and recommendations for client and internal stakeholders, with senior leadership supporting executive level engagement where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively across PS&E and the wider Publicis Groupe, sharing knowledge, methods and relevant market intelligence.
- Support team capability by documenting effective processes, sharing learnings and helping colleagues understand research, measurement and insight outputs.
- Take ownership of agreed deliverables, communicate risks and changes early, and seek input from relevant specialists when work requires technical, methodological or commercial expertise.
- What type of person will be successful in this role:
- Established experience across insights, research, analytics, consulting or data led project delivery, ideally in a client facing environment.
- Strong ability to turn complex data into clear insights, strategic recommendations and compelling stories for senior audiences.
- Experience across areas such as audience measurement, sponsorship evaluation, consumer research, media exposure or marketing effectiveness.
- A strong analytical mindset with excellent data quality, validation and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence across PowerPoint and Word; Power BI or Tableau experience is a bonus.
- Solid understanding of research methodologies and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Strong project management and stakeholder skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A confident communicator who can make complex analysis clear and accessible to different audiences.
- Media advertising experience is preferred
- Collaborative, commercially minded and genuinely interested in sport, entertainment, media, sponsorship and fan behaviour
