Hiring Title: Finance Analyst, Senior

About GBFS Team: The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provide support to HQ and global regional team on Finance & Business Operation activities. This role supports and manages vendor risk assessments for Procurement, partnering with finance teams and business units across the company to evaluate the financial health of third parties and report key findings and potential risks. Responsibilities include coordinating with third parties to obtain financial statements and conducting in-depth financial analysis to support risk reporting.

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and support Procurement in assessing vendor financial health and identifying potential risks. This role offers an opportunity to apply financial statement analysis experience and further develop expertise within the Risk Assessment team.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of deliverables through completion, and collaborates effectively with finance teams across the company. Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Shift timings: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM or 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, depending on business requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurately and timely deliverables of (transactional and analytics) financial packages and reporting.

Assisting in analyzing the financial statements and highlighting key findings.

Detailed analysis for financial statements and in depth understanding of Balance Sheet.

Assisting global teams with financial guidance.

Performing research and analysis as required.

Updating Financial system with the latest data.

Work closely with HQ and global region teams with regular interaction to reviews, drive transition calls, process documentation for all activities.

Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Support in all capital markets ad-hoc analysis and transactions including areas such as: capital structure and allocation analysis, share repurchases, bank group support.

Requirements

• Master’s in finance from reputed B-school (MBA / M. Com) or Qualified CA/CMA
• 6+ years of e experience in understanding and analysis of Financial statements like Balance Sheet/Cash Flows/ Statement of Profit & Loss.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle, Cognos TM1 or similar finance system tools is preferred.

Experience utilizing Bloomberg is a Plus

• Strong interest in financial markets
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to communicate with both internal and external partners.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review process and support team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskills with tools – Tableau, Power BI etc.
• Flexible for evening calls for reviews and transition calls on regular basis with global teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Shift timings: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM or 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, depending on business requirements.
