Social Media Lead - 1075

We are seeking a Social Media Lead in our Broomfield, CO Location. About the role You’ll own Quantinuum’s social media program from strategy through execution, building on our existing presence and leading its next stage of growth. Your work will increase brand awareness, establish thought leadership, and deepen engagement with investors, business and government decision makers, quantum industry stakeholders, and prospective employees.

We’re looking for a builder: someone who identifies opportunities, develops ideas, and moves them forward. You should be equally comfortable creating a channel strategy, capturing and editing a short video, writing a compelling post, participating in community conversations, and using quantitative and qualitative insight to identify trends, challenge assumptions, evaluate performance and determine future strategic priorities.

You will establish the frameworks, standards and ways of working that enable Quantinuum to use social media effectively and consistently across the organization, while remaining close enough to the work to provide hands-on expertise where it has the greatest impact. You’ll work closely with our Brand and Communications team, creative partners, and subject-matter experts to build a sustainable, scalable program with a clear editorial point of view and content tailored to each platform.

Key responsibilities: Social strategy and execution: Own, develop and lead a comprehensive social media program, defining channel roles, audience priorities, content themes, publishing cadence, and measures of success aligned with broader Brand, Communications and business priorities. Act as Quantinuum’s recognized subject matter expert for social media, advising Brand and Communications leadership and senior stakeholders on channel strategy, audience engagement, platform trends, emerging opportunities and reputational considerations.

Own the editorial calendar, scheduling, day-to-day publishing, social listening, and audience interactions, while establishing scalable approaches that enable effective contribution from colleagues, partners and subject-matter experts across the organisation. Channels and Communities: Improve our presence on LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms through compelling content, consistent publishing, and active engagement.

Develop approaches to engage in digital communities and platforms such as Reddit, adapting to their audiences, formats, and community expectations. Identify where Quantinuum can contribute meaningfully and build credibility over time. Content: Write platform-specific posts and capture, produce, and edit short-form video and photography for social use. Turn interviews, events, company news, and technical developments into engaging stories.

All with one goal in mind: make quantum computing understandable and relevant while preserving technical accuracy. Shape social content strategy for major company announcements. Cross-functional Partnerships: Partner with our creative and broader marketing team to scale content development and build repeatable ways of working: You’ll establish efficient planning, review, approval, and content capture processes that help turn our other colleagues into content creators as well, building on the social-first content that you’re developing on your own.

Advise on executive platform strategies, content, and engagement, and partner with colleagues on paid amplification. Provide coaching, guidance and subject-matter expertise to colleagues contributing to social content, building social capability across the wider organization. YOU MUST HAVE: High School Diploma/GED Minimum 3+ years of experience developing social media frameworks, standards, governance or scalable ways of working, with substantial ownership of brand social media programs.

Experience collaborating with technical experts and communicating with business, government, or investor audiences. Experience supporting executive thought leadership and coordinating organic content with paid amplification. Curiosity about quantum computing and a willingness to learn quickly. A demonstrated track record of building or significantly improving social programs and growing engaged communities, including leading complex initiatives that influence broader brand or communications objectives. .

Experience owning both strategy and day-to-day execution across multiple channels, including LinkedIn and X. Experience developing community engagement or publishing programs beyond traditional brand channels, such as Reddit or comparable platforms. Excellent writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to adapt complex stories for different audiences and formats. Hands-on experience capturing and editing short-form video and photography, supported by examples of your work.

Strong analytical skills and experience turning social performance data into actionable decisions. Initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to move ideas from concept to publication while collaborating across teams.
