Senior Quantitative Developer - Python

You will work within a global quantitative development function, collaborating directly with Quantitative Researchers and Portfolio Managers to develop and enhance the technology supporting systematic research and trading. The role focuses on improving the research platform, developing quantitative tooling and translating research strategies into robust production systems.

Your future role within QRT

• Automate and streamline data preparation and cleaning workflows
• Build, enhance and support quantitative research and trading frameworks
• Productionise trading strategies developed by Quantitative Researchers
• Develop tools and systems that address evolving research and trading requirements
• Improve software engineering practices across research workflows, including code quality, testing and maintainability
• Extend and improve the software platform in response to changing business and research requirements

Your present skillset

5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience

Strong Python development skills

High standards for code quality, testing and software development practices

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a collaborative environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with Quantitative Researchers and Portfolio Managers

Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment

Experience in financial markets or machine learning is beneficial
