About the Role
Qube Cinemas is looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to drive cinema advertising revenue across the Visakhapatnam territory. This is a field-facing role responsible for building and managing relationships with advertisers, media agencies, and local businesses to sell in-cinema advertising inventory (on-screen ads, branding, activations) across Qube's theatre network in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow advertising sales revenue for the Vizag territory against monthly and quarterly targets
- Identify, pitch, and close deals with local, regional, and national advertisers and media/ad agencies
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients across categories (retail, education, real estate, jewellery, healthcare, FMCG, etc.)
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and collections
- Coordinate with the operations/traffic team to ensure smooth ad scheduling and screening across theatres
- Track competitor activity (print, digital, other cinema advertising) and market trends in the Vizag/North Andhra region
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in media sales (TV, print, radio, digital, OOH, or cinema advertising preferred)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a field sales role
- Strong local market knowledge of Visakhapatnam and surrounding North Andhra region
- Existing relationships with local advertisers/agencies is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Telugu and English
- Self-driven, comfortable with independent field travel and client meetings
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for reporting; familiarity with CRM tools a plus
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred)
