Radiology Partners Healthcare/BioTech

VP, Chief of Staff

Remote Full-time

Position Description & Requirements

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Radiology Partners, through its affiliated practices, is a leading radiology practice in the U.S., serving hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the nation. As a physician-led and physician-owned practice, our mission is to transform radiology by innovating across clinical value, technology, service, and economics, while elevating the role of radiology and radiologists in healthcare. Using a proven healthcare services model, Radiology Partners provides consistent, high-quality care to patients, while delivering enhanced value to the hospitals, clinics, imaging centers and referring physicians we serve.

The Vice President, Chief of Staff to the President of RP Clinical Services serves as the President's closest operating partner and a force multiplier for the RPCS leadership team. The role owns the enterprise operating cadence, drives high-priority cross-functional initiatives, prepares the President for critical engagements, and ensures decisions are clearly communicated and executed to completion. Success requires sound judgment, discretion, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence senior physician and operating leaders without direct authority.

VP, CHIEF OF STAFF - POSITION SUMMARY

  • Owns the RPCS leadership operating rhythm, including agendas, materials, decisions, and follow-through for leadership meetings, business reviews, and offsites.
  • Builds and maintains the enterprise priority roadmap for RPCS, tracking milestones, owners, dependencies, and risks.
  • Leads monthly and quarterly business reviews in partnership with the Strategy Team, defining metrics and narrative, assembling materials, and ensuring reviews drive decisions.
  • Partners with the Strategy Team to develop the annual strategic plan for RP Clinical Services and translate enterprise strategy into measurable goals, clear ownership, and a quarterly planning rhythm.
  • Protects the President’s time and attention by aligning calendar, travel, and engagements with the priorities that carry the greatest enterprise value.
  • Leads high-visibility initiatives on behalf of the President, including operating model design, organizational redesign, integration work, and efforts spanning practices, service lines, and corporate functions.
  • Takes ownership of issues that fall between functions by assembling the appropriate team, framing decisions, evaluating options, and driving work to clear outcomes.
  • Partners with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer to align clinical and operational workstreams and reduce duplicated effort.
  • Prepares the President for board meetings, executive sessions, physician forums, and client and partner engagements, including narratives, materials, data, context, and anticipated questions.
  • Develops executive-level presentations and written briefs that communicate a clear argument and stand on their own without narration.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or years of equivalent work experience.
  • Ten or more years of progressive experience across strategy, corporate development, operations, or chief of staff roles, including direct support of a C-level or business unit executive.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives to completion in a large, matrixed organization without direct authority over the people performing the work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication experience, including development of board-quality materials and executive narratives.
  • Experience working with financial, operational, and clinical data.
  • Experience in healthcare services, multi-site physician groups, health systems, or another distributed, clinically driven organization.
