Intern - Sustainability - Spring 2027 - Market Strategy & Growth Intern

Join Teknor Apex's Sustainability team and help drive initiatives that support our environmental goals while delivering value to our customers.

The Market Strategy & Growth Intern will help identify new opportunities for growth by researching markets, industries, and emerging trends. You'll work alongside business leaders to provide insights that influence strategic planning and support future business decisions.

This internship is ideal for students interested in strategy, business analytics, market intelligence, or product management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct market research across industries and application segments
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
• Evaluate emerging technologies and growth opportunities
• Support strategic initiatives within the Growth Office
• Build reports and presentations for business leadership
• Gather and interpret industry data to support business recommendations
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Comfortable working with data and drawing meaningful conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Curious, self-motivated, and eager to solve business problems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to perform duties under specific time requirements
• Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
