Jr Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented Junior Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team in New York. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career developer to build a strong foundation in modern web development while contributing to meaningful projects. You will work closely with experienced engineers who are committed to mentoring and developing your technical skills in both frontend and backend technologies. This position is critical in supporting the expansion of our digital platforms and helping us deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React) and backend technologies (Java/Spring Boot or Node.js/Express)
• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy features that meet business requirements
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices across the team
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Work with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize database performance
• Participate in version control workflows using Git and contribute to CI/CD pipelines following Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through from development to production with minimal supervision
• Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in full-stack development

Job Requirements, Skills, Education, and Experience

• 0-2 years of professional experience in software development or recent bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proficiency in backend technologies: Java/Spring Boot OR Node.js/Express (required)
• Knowledge of frontend technologies: React, JavaScript, or Angular with understanding of HTML/CSS (required)
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL (required)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities (required)
• Solid foundation in Git version control and understanding of CICD concepts (required)
• Familiarity with REST API design and consumption principles (preferred)
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development practices (preferred)
• The salary range for this position is $65,000-75,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

Work Arrangement
