Systems Development Intern

As a Systems Development Intern, you'll work alongside our IT team to develop, enhance, and maintain applications that support employees and help drive business success. From day one, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, tackle real-world challenges, and gain hands-on experience working on technology solutions that make an impact across the organization.

In this role, you'll assist with the development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of internally developed applications. You'll gain exposure to software design, coding, database management, systems integration, quality assurance, and troubleshooting while learning the fundamentals of the software development lifecycle. You'll also support business partners by documenting requirements, researching emerging technologies, and participating in projects aimed at improving efficiency and performance.

As a member of the team, you'll do more than observe. Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Sophomore standing or above prior to the start of the internship
• Understanding of programming concepts, logic, and software development fundamentals
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, or application development principles preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Interest in software development, business systems, and technology solutions
