Strategic Account Manager

SCOPE

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with a some of Braemac's strategic accounts in South Australia. As an individual contributor, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager the Strategic Account Manager will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across product management, engineering, customer service, warehouse and finance to ensure revenue growth, customer retention, and profitability.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organisations.
• Understand customer business objectives, challenges, and future requirements to identify growth opportunities.
• Achieve annual revenue, gross margin, pipeline generation and strategic growth objectives through effective territory planning, account development and opportunity management.
• Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with customers.
• Coordinate the quotation process for with Sales Management, Product Management, and Procurement.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, business or related field required.
• 5+ years of strategic account management, business development or technical sales experience.
• Experience managing complex enterprise accounts and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue growth and profit targets.
• Experience working with electronic components, embedded systems, communications systems, or related technologies is highly desirable.
• Negotiation skills for convincing and persuading others.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organisational skills.
• Strong oral/written communications skills for communicating, and building relationships with internal and external customers.
