Regional Business Manager UK

Main tasks

• Responsible for the achievement of sales targets, revenue and gross margin in the region.
• Actively win, retain and grow the business in the UK & Ireland.
• Manage, support and expand the local sales network including agents and finders.
• Managing existing customers and developing new business in target industries.
• Competently advise customers and train sales partners on products and applications of the technology.
• Independently negotiate with customers within corporate guidelines.
• Majority of working time spent on visiting customers.
• Sales analyses and planning in cooperation with marketing.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with and support the aftermarket team both locally in the UK and with the EMEA headquarters.
• Train, supervise and support the regional sales manager/s for a global revenue in the region.
• Attend meetings and trade shows anywhere in the EMEA region as needed or as required by upper management.

Your Profile

Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering or related technical disciplines/ equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years experience in selling machine tools (cutting technologies preferred).

Understanding of product specifications, product processes and cutting technologies in various applications.

Entrepreneurial skill and ability to work in a team and independently.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer orientation.

Fluent English (verbal and written), any other European language is an advantage.

Willingness to travel extensively across the region and Europe.
