Reflex Technology/Software

Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)

San Francisco, CA In person Full-time

About Reflex

Reflex helps companies build, deploy, and manage custom applications with AI. Teams securely connect their company data, build on our open-source Python framework, and deploy applications to their users.

Our customers use Reflex to modernize legacy software, build operational tools, and turn company data into applications their teams use every day.

We’re hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative to turn that demand into qualified enterprise pipeline. You’ll work directly with our CEO and founding Account Executive, own outbound campaigns, and help raise the standard for sales development as the team grows.

The role

You’ll own prospecting for a defined set of accounts and customer segments, from account research and messaging through qualification and meeting handoff. You’ll work with the founders and sales team to refine account priorities, test outreach, and turn successful approaches into repeatable playbooks.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with responsibility for helping other SDRs improve. You should enjoy prospecting, be able to deliver results independently, and bring practical ideas grounded in what you hear from customers.

Your prospects will come from inbound interest in our open-source framework and free product, conferences and executive events, referrals, and target account lists developed with the team.

This is a full-time, fully in-person role at our San Francisco office.

Compensation

Base salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year. On-target earnings (OTE): $200,000 per year, including base salary and variable compensation at target performance. Equity: 0.1%.

What you’ll do

  • Own outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn, from account selection through qualified meetings.
  • Research enterprise accounts, identify relevant business, operations, IT, and data leaders, and tailor outreach to their priorities.
  • Engage multiple stakeholders within target accounts and develop a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Qualify inbound interest, event contacts, and referrals, with prompt and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Run initial qualification conversations and give the sales team clear context on the prospect’s problem, fit, stakeholders, and next steps.
  • Own scheduling, reminders, and rescheduling so qualified meetings happen.
  • Track campaign performance through replies, meetings held, and opportunities created; use results to improve targeting and messaging.
  • Document effective sequences, objection handling, and qualification practices.
  • Help onboard and coach other SDRs through call reviews, messaging feedback, and shared playbooks.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and use AI and sales tools to make research and outreach more effective.

What we’re looking for

  • At least three years of SDR, BDR, or comparable B2B software prospecting experience.
  • A demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding qualified-meeting or pipeline targets.
  • Experience independently running outbound campaigns and explaining what drove their results.
  • Confidence cold calling and engaging senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong qualification judgment: you can distinguish interest from a meaningful sales opportunity.
  • Clear writing, careful account research, and consistent follow-through.
  • Experience using a CRM, sales engagement tools, and conversion data to improve performance.
  • Willingness to share feedback, coach teammates, and improve the team’s process while carrying your own targets.
  • Experience selling enterprise software, developer tools, data platforms, or AI products is helpful. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be curious about how customers use software to solve business problems.
  • Your first 30, 60, and 90 days
  • First 30 days: Learn the product, customer use cases, and qualification criteria. Review existing campaigns with the founders and founding Account Executive, build your initial account plan, and launch outreach.
  • By 60 days: Independently own prospecting and follow-up for your assigned accounts. Test targeting and messaging, deliver qualified meetings with clear handoffs, and review opportunity conversion with the sales team.
  • By 90 days: Establish a repeatable campaign for an agreed customer segment, document the playbook, and help other SDRs apply what works. Recommend the next experiments based on actual results.
  • We’ll agree on activity, qualified-meeting, and pipeline targets during onboarding and refine them using conversion data.

How we’ll measure success

Your primary outcomes are qualified meetings that happen and progress into real sales opportunities. We’ll also look at campaign conversion, the quality of your qualification and handoffs, and how your playbooks and coaching help the team improve.

Ownership and growth

You’ll have direct access to the founders and meaningful influence over how Reflex builds enterprise pipeline. As you demonstrate results, you’ll have room to own more complex accounts and segments and take on greater responsibility within sales development.
