About the Role
The Delivery & Deployment Excellence Lead - APAC leads regional business readiness, solution quality, deployment excellence and successful adoption of Oracle EBS upgrades and enhancements across APAC. The role connects global program direction with regional execution, ensuring APAC business teams and commercial entities are prepared for testing, cutover, go-live and transition to business-as-usual operations.
Working across business and technology teams, this role serves as a key link between global program leadership, regional business leaders, technology teams and trading entities. It translates global strategy and approved program priorities into clear regional actions, helps shape regional priorities and trade-offs, and supports business value, process standardization, productivity and a consistent deployment approach. The role operates with significant autonomy and influence, while enterprise strategy, business priorities and value outcomes remain accountable to global program and business leadership.
What You’ll do
Partner with Order Management, Distribution, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, GTS and APAC commercial entities to assess business requirements, define process scenarios and acceptance criteria, help shape regional priorities and align them with the Oracle EBS upgrade roadmap and global program objectives.
Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize business processes, improve productivity, eliminate inefficiencies and maximize business value from the technology investment, working with accountable business and program leaders to progress agreed opportunities.
Support regional business process assessments and navigate trade-offs between APAC requirements and global process and solution strategies, escalating enterprise decisions where required.
Lead regional execution across business requirements, testing, deployment readiness, cutover, go-live and stabilization, ensuring critical risks and dependencies are actively managed and escalated appropriately.
Apply the global testing and business readiness approach across APAC; translate approved requirements into risk-based test scenarios and coordinate appropriate business participation across system integration, user acceptance, regression and other testing cycles.
Drive testing milestones, defect triage, resolution, retesting and business sign-off for material issues, escalating material risks, capacity constraints and decisions as required to support solution readiness for deployment.
Apply APAC readiness criteria in alignment with global governance, maintaining an integrated view of regional actions, dependencies, risks, issues and deployment health and providing clear, decision-ready recommendations.
Lead APAC deployment, cutover, go-live and stabilization activities in partnership with global program and business leadership, coordinating accountable business and technology owners through transition to business-as-usual operations.
Coordinate regional change management and adoption activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training and business readiness, with functional and change leads.
Work closely with global program leadership to translate strategic priorities, dependencies, milestones and expected business outcomes into APAC execution priorities and plans.
Partner with Delivery & Deployment Excellence Leads in other regions to establish and apply common standards, share lessons learned and develop reusable deployment playbooks and best practices.
Maintain an integrated view of APAC deployment health and surface material regional and cross-regional risks, dependencies and decisions to program leadership.
Monitor post-go-live performance and business outcomes, facilitating timely issue resolution, stabilization and lessons learned to improve future deployments.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, supply chain, finance or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in enterprise transformation, ERP delivery, business deployment, testing or change execution, including leadership of complex regional delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of end-to-end business processes and the dependencies between commercial, customer service, finance, distribution and supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading regional readiness, testing, cutover, go-live and stabilization for large-scale technology or process change.
- Demonstrated ability to establish clear priorities, navigate regional and global trade-offs, and translate program direction into practical execution plans.
- Strong stakeholder leadership and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively, work effectively with senior leaders and escalate issues with clear recommendations.
- Experience using data, milestones and readiness measures to assess delivery health and support timely decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, regions and time zones.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver through others without relying on direct authority.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or a comparable enterprise ERP platform.
- Experience working across multiple APAC markets or trading entities and partnering across regions.
- Relevant program, project, testing or change management certification.
- Experience in regulated healthcare, medical device or similarly complex environment.
